So here we are fam...the end of another one. Seems like 2011 flew by in the blink of an eye! For some of us it was a good year, others ok & the rest...fuckin HORRIBLE and can't wait to see that bitch leave!!
Whatever it was, just know that regardless, we're still blessed! Blessed to be here breathing this air & reading this blog The General is droppin. Real talk tho, you might not realize it but true story, shit could be A LOT worse!! I'm speaking right now to those who may be apart of the MILLIONS who have fallen on hard times, lost their jobs, etc. If you reading this aren't in that category... again, count those blessings! You know that ol saying, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Well this is FACT! The struggle you have to endure now will change you...prepare you for the next chapters in life in more ways than you even know right now. You will later tho and it will become evident as you continue to walk the path. Always remain positive, thankful & know He has a plan already laid out! Stay strong!

2011 was a tough one. Lots of drama, trying to make ends meets. But in spite of it all, I hustled hard to make it through another year. On the music tip, it was harder for me to get certain cd's because stores are closing, and I had to find the right spot to cop. There were quality records put out from Tech N9NE's, "6's & 7's", KRS-One's/Freddie Foxxes, "Royalty Check" to Common's, "The Dreamer, the Believer." Unfortunately many people do not know when albums come out. So what I would like to see in 2012 is more promotion on the part of labels, stores, and media so the product can reach the people whether it's the under 25 crowd or over 25 headz. There are quality records that come out every week, and everyone should have an equal shot to hear them.
